TitanHEALTH Community Engagement Graduate InternAt — CSUF - Student Health and Counseling Center
TitanHEALTH seeks a research and program development intern with an interest in health and wellness for our new Community Engagement program. Strong research experience, technical writing, mentorship, grammatical, and communication skills required. The qualified intern should be a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working independently, in a team, and providing mentorship to undergraduate students. Experience as a research assistant or with curriculum or program development experience is a plus. The weekly time commitment is flexible. Intern should be able to provide a minimum of 10 hours of service per week, and up to 20 hours. Schedule will be pre-approved and arranged on an individual basis. Office hours are M-F from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at Student Wellness (SHCC-E & W). This is an in-person, on-campus position.

• Maintain communication with intern, through weekly meetings plus reports to document activities and project updates
• Provide opportunities for the intern to include on their resume, written portfolio, and publishing credits
• Provide intern with research, analysis, writing, editing, and publishing experience
• Provide intern with leadership, mentorship, and facilitation experience

• Research topics connected to program as outlined above, and relevant to CSUF students and Titan community
• Analyze source materials for relevancy and translate research to CSUF context as necessary
• Analyze programs and curricula for relevancy or translatability to the CSUF context
• Draft literature reviews, analysis/position papers, journal articles, and other written materials
• Conduct research activities such as surveys and focus groups
• Draft curriculum and facilitation guides
• Provide mentorship and guidance to undergraduate student interns and peer educators
• Attend weekly meetings with Assistant Director and Health Educator
