Nathan will demonstrate his learning outcomes by:

• Accurately organize and enter healthcare data to support Healthcare Provider Performance Metrics which can mirror bookkeeping and data entry projects within the field of Finance and Financial reconciliation processes 
• Utilizing Excel to sort, filter, and analyze datasets which will bolster up his data management skills, crucial to both healthcare quality and 
• Support Quality Improvement Department projects through performance metrics tracking and trend analysis. 

Training:

To support Nathan’s learning objectives as a finance major:

• Structured Onboarding: A comprehensive orientation will introduce him to Quality Improvement objectives, HIPAA compliance, and the impact of healthcare data in the Healthcare Provider’s financial outcomes
• Direct Instruction: Training will focus on using Microsoft Excel for data tracking, trend analysis, and performance reporting which are tools that are frequently used in the career path of finance. 
• Regular Check-ins: Weekly one-on-one meetings with me will offer Nathan a channel to learn both technical tasks and the importance of healthcare data tracking in healthcare management. 
• Ongoing Feedback: Nathan will receive midpoint and final evaluations, giving him insight into professional growth areas and real-world applications of finance skills in healthcare.
