eCommerce & Online Sales InternshipAt — Full Circle Marketplace
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial and tech-savvy intern to develop and implement an online selling strategy for our thrifted inventory. You’ll analyze popular resale platforms (like Shopify, Instagram, Poshmark, Depop, eBay, and Etsy), choose the most effective channels, and help us launch our online sales operation from the ground up.
Tasks:
Conducting a platform analysis report comparing 3–5 platforms with pros/cons for Full Circle's needs.
Creating a digital strategy document outlining the ideal customer, pricing, and promotional plans.
Launching a small pilot storefront (on one platform), uploading at least 15–20 items with professional listings.
Monitoring and updating listings weekly, adjusting based on engagement/sales.
Presenting a final report with performance metrics and recommendations for scaling online sales.
Training:
Platform Evaluation – Guidance through research methods, comparative analysis tools, and discussions with staff familiar with existing platforms.
Target Market Identification – Mentorship in customer persona development, social media analytics, and reviewing sales data.
Storefront Setup – Hands-on training in setting up and customizing platforms; shadowing staff working with Clover and Shopify.
Listing Creation – Workshops on visual merchandising, photography, copywriting, and keyword use for SEO.
Sales Analysis – Introduction to spreadsheets, reports, and basic metrics like sell-through rate, conversion rate, and ROI.
Learning Outcome
Evaluate and compare major online selling platforms for thrifted merchandise.
Identify target customer segments and develop an eCommerce sales strategy.
Set up and manage online storefronts (e.g., Shopify, Poshmark, eBay, etc.).
