HIPPA Compliance/Confidentiality: All student clinicians must complete HIPPA training prior to beginning the practicum. Client confidentiality must be maintained at all times. Emergency Procedures: students will receive an orientation that includes evacuation routes, fire extinguisher locations, procedures for medical or behavioral emergencies. Infection control: students are expected to follow standard infection control practices including proper hand hygiene, disinfecting materials/surfaces between clients. Incident Reporting: Any accidents, injuries, or safety concerns must be reported immediately to the supervising clinician.
