As Bilingual Support, volunteer students are responsible for helping our Spanish teacher with classroom-related work.
There is a great opportunity for students to discover their talent for teaching by tutoring other students. In this environment, they would get firsthand experience in the setting where they would be teaching. This could also be a stepping stone to helping students learn a new language.
Students will work under the certified teacher's supervision and be guided by them.
Our Campus has a safe environment for all attending.
Students wanting to participate in the Saturday Academy need to have authorization from their teacher/counselor/program coordinator, and my approval. To have my approval, please turn in a copy of the assignment/project description, the student's schedule, and an email with the project requirements from their teacher, counselor, or program coordinator. I will make sure the assignment aligns with the curriculum and that I have the required staffing to assist the students.
