PATH Summer Intern Program with OCHCAAt — Orange County Health Care Agency (OCHCA)
The Professions Advancing and Transforming Health (PATH) Academy aims to expose CSUF students to a wide variety of careers and professions within the health field. The PATH Academy is specifically designed to increase retention and graduation rates of
underserved and disadvantaged students who are interested in health profession
through academic advancement and professional development programs that include work-based learning opportunities in partnership with Orange County Health Care
Agency (OCHCA)
Under supervision of an OCHCA site supervisor, the intern will provide assistance and
support within the different departments of OCHCA.
Essential duties will include, but not limited to:
Event set up and support
Department administrative support
Costumer service
Data Tracking
Patient Scheduling
Tasks:
* Collect information, data, and records to electronic registration system
* Organize and maintain department documents and data
* Answer phone calls and provide customer service
*Greet and assist customers or attendees during outreach events
Training:
Students will be required to attend a workforce readiness orientation in
addition to two 5-hour trainings that include professional communication,
professional conduct, and professionalism in the workplace. Student interns will be required to completed required training with OCHCA as well.

* Understand the day-to-day operations of a health care agency
