League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC)

Organization Description

Founded in 1929, the League of United Latin American Citizens—LULAC—has been on the front lines of the fight for Latino civil rights for nearly a century. As the oldest and largest Latino civil rights organization in the country, LULAC has worked tirelessly to protect and advance the rights of our communities—fighting discrimination, expanding access to education, healthcare, housing, and economic opportunity. From courtrooms to classrooms to Congress, LULAC continues its mission to ensure that Latinos are treated with the dignity, respect, and equality.

Health & Safety

No. Our national office has graduated dozens of interns and provides a healthy, welcoming environment for individuals to work and learn. The building has 24-hour security, and access to our floor is limited to authorized personnel and interns. Located just two blocks from the White House, we prioritize the safety and well-being of all interns and take every measure to ensure a secure and professional setting.
