The Community Investment for Families Department (CIFD) is seeking a qualified Student) to be an integral part of the CIFD Communications team.

The position will assist the Public Information Director in creating both internal and external communications through website management, social media platforms, media relations, and event planning. 

Tasks:

\u27a2 Design graphics for social media, website, reports, and campaigns
\u27a2 Attends occasional events and department sites for content
\u27a2 Assists with video editing
\u27a2 Assists with photography for special department events
\u27a2 Tracks and analyzes analytics of our websites and social media platforms
\u27a2 Tracks department media mentions
\u27a2 Maintains media/City contact lists
\u27a2 Assists with media/PR inquiries
\u27a2 Assists in creating new campaigns and methods for the presentation and dissemination of information to the public
\u27a2 Assists with logistics/event planning for special events
