Opportunity Summary 

Regional Management taking care of LA county, Orange County, and Riverside County orders for produce and meat. 

Tasks:

1. Order Management and Processing • Enter and update customer orders in the order management system. • Verify delivery schedules and ensure all information is accurate and up to date. • Track order progress and communicate delays or issues to appropriate parties. 2. Inventory and Supply Chain Support • Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records using digital tracking systems. • Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and help reconcile discrepancies. • Support reordering processes by preparing supplier order forms or reports. 3. Customer and Vendor Communication • Respond to inquiries from customers and vendors via phone and email professionally. • Assist with resolving delivery issues, complaints, or special requests. • Draft professional correspondence and service updates to customers. 4. Data Management and Reporting • Compile weekly and monthly reports on deliveries, order fulfillment rates, and customer feedback. • Assist in data analysis to identify patterns or inefficiencies in delivery operations. • Prepare charts, spreadsheets, or summaries for internal team use. 5. Scheduling and Logistics Coordination • Help coordinate delivery driver schedules and optimize routes using logistics software. • Maintain shared calendars and assist in setting up team meetings or dispatch check-ins. • Document and update standard operating procedures for logistics workflows.

Training:

General Orientation: Interns will receive an introduction to company policies, procedures, and the produce delivery workflow during their first week. • Mentor Meetings: Weekly one-on-one check-ins with a supervisor to provide guidance, feedback, and track progress toward learning goals. • Job Shadowing: Early in the internship, students will observe experienced staff to understand administrative and logistics tasks in context. • Task Briefings: Each new assignment will include a short explanation of its purpose and relevance to business operations. • On-the-Job Training: Interns will receive hands-on instruction in software tools, customer communication, and data management throughout the placement
