Commercial Real Estate InternAt — Trumark Investments

The intern will support the team in researching markets, analyzing financial data and assist in sales, leases, and investment related projects. Provides hands on experience in the commercial property sector and day-to-day operations.

Tasks:

Organize and maintain property files and client records
Analyze comparable property sales (comps)
Research neighborhood trends and demographics
Monitor listings on Loopnet, Crexi, MLS and other platforms
Schedule appointments and property showings
Prepare client presentations and marketing materials
Post property listings on websites and social media
Help create brochures, flyers, and virtual tours
Track engagement metrics from online listings
Help draft contracts, leases, and disclosure forms
Enter property data into CRM or database systems
Update spreadsheets and reports

Training:

Attend training sessions
Shadow RE agents and Manager during meeting and showing
Compliance RE laws and transaction processes

Learning Outcome:

Gain Foundational Knowledge of the key sectors of commercial real estate—office, retail, industrial, and multifamily
Collect and evaluate market trends, lease comps, vacancy rates to support investment decisions and marketing efforts.
Learn how commercial properties are valued using metrics such as net operating income (NOI), capitalization rates, internal rate of return (IRR), and comparable market analysis.
