Casting InternAt — Damian Bao Casting

Casting Intern will support our team in discovering and organizing talent for upcoming projects. Responsibilities include helping with talent outreach, maintaining casting databases, assisting during auditions, and providing general administrative support.

Tasks:

- Help organize and log tapes for upcoming feature film \\Progeny\\
- Help record zoom auditions for upcoming feature film \\Progeny\\
- Conduct talent Research through social media platforms for feature films and commercial projects
- Organize talent database for upcoming commerical projects
- Learn and operate form based platform \\Airtable\\ for commerical/film projects

Training:

One-on-One Mentorship: Interns will have weekly scheduled check-ins with a assistant or supervisor to review progress, ask questions, and receive personalized feedback.

Job Shadowing: Interns will observe live casting sessions (in-person or virtual) and, and shadow the casting team to gain insight into day-to-day operations.

Task Contextualization & Skill Building: Each assignment is introduced with an overview of its purpose in the casting pipeline.

Learning Outcome:

Understand the full casting process — from talent submissions to final selections.

Learn how to evaluate and organize audition materials effectively.

Gain professional communication and administrative skills in a casting office setting.
