Training:

We provide initial clinical training followed by a competency exam, paired with hands on training with our behavioral technicians and their patients. By the end of the hands on training the student will be able to run therapy independently. Additionally, we provide ongoing training to provide top quality treatment to our patients.

Learning Outcome:

1. By the end of the internship, the student will be able to effectively implement individualized ABA treatment plans under supervision, demonstrating fidelity to prescribed interventions and data collection protocols.

Rationale: This goal ensures that the intern gains hands-on experience in delivering ABA interventions, which is crucial for developing practical skills in behavior modification and data-driven decision-making.

2. By the end of the internship, the student will be able to accurately collect and analyze behavioral data, using this information to assess client progress and inform treatment adjustments.

Rationale: Proficiency in data collection and analysis is fundamental in ABA practice, as it allows for objective evaluation of client behavior and the effectiveness of interventions.

3. By the end of the internship, the student will be able to demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including supervisors, caregivers, and other professionals, to support client development.

Rationale: Interdisciplinary collaboration is essential in ABA settings to ensure comprehensive care and to integrate diverse perspectives into treatment planning.

4. By the end of the internship, the student will be able to apply ethical and professional standards in all aspects of practice, including maintaining client confidentiality, obtaining informed consent, and adhering to organizational policies.

Rationale: Upholding ethical standards is critical in maintaining the integrity of ABA practice and ensuring the welfare of clients.
