Opportunity Summary
Intern will write ISO 17025 lab Quality Management System for St. Charles, IL. Assist with setting fire panels and programming fire panels. Assist with set up test systems for aspirating smoke detectors.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Hands on experience with connecting fire panels and fire systems. This includes wiring fire panels and systems, learning how to program panels using installation instructions. Reading product safety standards (UL, FM) and how to apply test requirements to fire systems. Learn how to write quality procedures to match day-to-day lab operations.
Opportunity Training
Observing an ISO 17025 DAP audit. Working with technicians to learn how to connect and program fire panels and smoke detectors.
