Community Reporter - The LutrinaeAt — The Lutrinae Newspaper

Opportunity Summary

The job duties of this member of the staff for the Lutrinae, Cal State Monterey Bay's student-run newspaper, would include covering the surrounding communities of the school (Seaside and Marina). Specifically, this reporter would investigate and produce stories on development affecting the student body (for example, Seaside's Campus Town and The Dunes on Monterey Bay in Marina). The reporter would also track council meetings for any actions that might effect CSUMB students. In addition, the reporter would do feature stories on developments not directly affecting students, but that they might find interesting (such as the future of closed CEMEX plant or the proposed desal plant in Marina).
