Opportunity Summary 

Position Summary

We’re seeking a Social Media & Marketing Intern who’s excited about digital marketing, automation, and creative content. This role is ideal for someone who’s both analytical and artistic—able to work on funnels, automations, and lead generation while also creating engaging social content. You’ll work alongside the CEO and other team members to build brand presence, grow engagement, and streamline marketing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and schedule content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
  • Assist with lead generation, audience engagement, and campaign execution
  • Build and manage CRM funnels (Go High Level or similar platform)
  • Support marketing automations, workflows, email/text campaigns
  • Analyze performance metrics and recommend improvements
  • Organize and maintain CRM data for new and existing leads
  • Create and repurpose content from client work, behind-the-scenes, and campaigns
  • Assist in planning and producing reels, video content, and live streams
  • Respond to social media DMs and engage with followers and customers

Tasks:

The intern will engage in the following duties:

Develop and schedule branded content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook using tools like Canva and Meta Business Suite.

Build and optimize CRM funnels and automations using Go High Level to support lead nurturing and customer engagement.

Assist in planning, filming, and editing short-form video content, including reels and behind-the-scenes stories.

Monitor social media performance metrics and produce weekly reports with suggested improvements.

Organize CRM contact data and tag leads appropriately to improve segmentation and targeting.

Respond to social media inquiries and engage with community members to boost interaction.

Support campaign launches, including email/text marketing, special promotions, and event coverage.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to creative strategy, branding, and messaging.

Training:

Interns will receive hands-on training in social media strategy, CRM tools (like Go High Level), and content creation using Canva and video editing apps. Initial onboarding includes an overview of company tools, processes, and expectations. Ongoing support includes weekly check-ins with the CEO or mentor, shadowing on campaigns, and guided instruction on automations, content planning, and performance tracking.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to:

1. Develop and implement content strategies across multiple social media platforms to increase engagement, brand visibility, and lead generation.

2. Design and manage CRM automations and funnels using tools such as Go High Level to support customer retention and streamline marketing workflows.

3. Create, edit, and repurpose multimedia content (including video, graphics, and copy) that aligns with the brand’s tone, mission, and visual identity.

4. Analyze marketing campaign performance using platform analytics and recommend strategic adjustments to improve results.

5. Collaborate effectively with a small team in a fast-paced business environment, practicing professional communication and time management skills.
