Position descriptions: Fellows will have the opportunity to work alongside attorneys, DOJ accredited representatives, and other legal staff. They play a crucial role in providing direct services to community members, primarily focusing on immigration application support and related tasks. While fellows may undertake limited administrative duties, the bulk of their service is dedicated to hands-on community assistance and engagement. Fellows directly support community members, under the supervision of licensed attorneys and accredited DOJ representatives, with completing immigration applications and participating in legal workshop events. In doing so interns have a direct impact in supporting community members in navigating complex legal systems. Administrative tasks encompass answering phones, greeting clients, filing documents, and data entry.

Desired Skills and Abilities: 

Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) / Ability to work well with diverse groups/ Punctual, well organized, self-motivated, energetic, and motivated to work independently.

Open Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, once per month on Saturdays if available
