Work closely with our Digital Director to create designs
Offering input to creative meetings and share ideas
Create designs for social media platforms and company marketing
Communicating with team members to receive feedback
Tasks:
Research fonts, colors, photos for projects.
Pitch new designs ideas to the marketing team.
Other management tasks assisting the team leaders.
Software and Tools Used During Internship include Adobe Products - Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Basecamp, Trello, Google Docs, Gmail
Training:
To help the student achieve the learning outcomes, we will assign graphic design tasks, outline objectives and expectations, review and provide feedback on all work, and hold weekly check-ins to evaluate progress and learning expectations. We will also share current campaigns our organization is working on, the student may not be directly involved in as an opportunity to expose the student to larger strategy and management tasks they may come across in the future.
Create a weekly list of goals, completed tasks, in-progress tasks, and future tasks to track progress.
Learning Outcome:
By the end of the internship, the student will learn how an advertising campaign is executed from start to completion. Gain experience in event promotions and marketing designs. Additionally, the student will have access and opportunity to learn video editing, photography and other creative related skills.
