Therapy Associates of Solano County
The mission of Therapy Associates of Solano County (TASC) is to stop the cycle of harm by elevating the sexual health of the communities we serve. Community safety is a core component of the Sexually Healthy Lifestyle treatment program provided by TASC, driving treatment efforts to lower risk of re-offense. Our mission is achieved through the provision of a comprehensive program which includes the following components: • intensive programs for adult offenders, in which clients learn their risk cycle that leads to offending behavior; and • programs for family members (non-offending parents/guardians/partners) of offenders, to address the impact of sexual abuse on the family system.
Students will be in a therapeutic milieu with clients who have been convicted of a variety of criminal behavior including a registrable sexual offense. These clients are supervised in the community by CDCR (Parole). The milieu includes several clinicians, site staff, and clients in an office consisting of four group and three individual treatment spaces, two client bathrooms, and a client lobby.

M-F 9a-7p Services and schedules are based around existing group times that cannot be moved. Approximately 40 groups happen each week in the Sacramento office, so students may be able to choose an earlier or later day, but ultimately the schedule will be based on existing group and clinician schedules to ensure students are supported.
