Opportunity Summary 

The ACE Agency (ACE) has developed meaningful campaigns that deliver measurable results since 2009. A Southern California-based public relations and marketing agency with an emphasis on lifestyle, we are a collaborative group of communicators, creating innovation, elevating stories, and developing experiences that resonate. The role will assist with public relations and marketing campaign development, as well as event promotion and production. This is a unique opportunity to expand your communications knowledge and experience working in a fast-paced agency environment. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, self-motivation and enjoy writing, media and events. Tasks:

- Draft press releases, pitches, media alerts and blog material
- Assist with marketing research
- Research media contacts in media monitoring platform
- Assist with reporting and analyzing reporting metrics / KPIs
- Draft captions for social media posts
- Create stories for clients' content calendars
- Find UGC for various clients' content calendars

Training:

- General employee orientation
- Weekly schedule one-on-one mentored meetings
- Job shadowing
- Reviews with team members
- PR and social media training materials

Learning Outcome:

- Know the difference between PR tools (i.e. press release, media advisory, tip sheet)
- Draft a press release and pitch
- Identify media contacts per campaign/topic
- Understand reporting metrics
- Draft captions for client social media posts
- Create engaging stories in Canva for various clients
