Opportunity Summary 

We're seeking a motivated student with demonstrated experience in independent video production. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio showcasing their ability to shoot and edit complete video projects, proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, and hands-on experience with DSLR cameras for video production.

We value students who can work autonomously after initial training, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate effectively about their creative process. Most importantly, we want someone eager to develop their skills in audience-centered communication and professional video production while contributing meaningfully to our customer education content.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Experience operating DSLR cameras
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Audio recording and editing

Tasks:

-Independently shooting and editing video projects from concept through final delivery
-Completing a series of customer education videos demonstrating audience-centered communication principles
-Creating consistent visual content across brand lines that maintains appropriate voice and tone
-Successfully managing multiple concurrent projects while meeting established deadlines
-Presenting completed work to full staff in end-of-semester critique session

Training:

- We will provide customer persona training and daily intention-setting sessions for audience-focused content
-We will demonstrate DSLR and audio equipment use, provide Adobe Creative Cloud training with supervised practice
- we will provide hands-on mentorship in visual storytelling techniques and narrative structure for product videos
-Weekly one-to-one critique sessions with constructive feedback and presentation guidance
-Establish project tracking system and conduct weekly review sessions for workflow development

Learning Outcome:

-Independently shoot and edit professional video content using DSLR cameras and Adobe Premiere Pro
-Create customer education videos that communicate product solutions from the audience's perspective
-Create videos using different styles appropriate to multiple brand voices
-Manage multiple concurrent video projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards
-Present completed work professionally and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement
