Opportunity Summary 

505 Games (U.S.), Inc., a global video game publisher and subsidiary of Digital Bros S.p.A., is offering a Game Design Internship focused on hands‑on experience in Unreal Engine 5, Perforce revision control, and Confluence for design documentation. Over 6–8 weeks at approximately 40 hours per week, the student will work in a professional studio environment in Calabasas, CA, collaborating with games professionals on projects moving from prototype to near‑completion. Responsibilities include assisting with game design tasks, maintaining design documentation, participating in team meetings, and contributing to gameplay iteration. The intern will receive training on company systems, workflows, and industry‑standard tools, along with ongoing supervision and guidance from an experienced game design professional.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

By the end of the internship, the student will gain proficiency in core game design software, improve documentation techniques, and develop a practical understanding of the game development process in a professional setting.

Opportunity Training 

Students will receive orientation to company tools, systems, and processes. They will gain hands‑on experience with Unreal Engine 5, Perforce, and Confluence, and receive guidance in documentation techniques and game development workflows from prototype to near‑completion.

This internship is conducted in a professional office or remote work environment, with duties performed primarily on a computer. There are no physical hazards, fieldwork, or interactions with unsafe environments. Interns will be provided with ergonomic guidance for computer use, security protocols for handling company systems and data, and workplace conduct expectations. All work will follow standard company policies to ensure a safe, healthful, and respectful environment.
