Social Media & Marketing InternAt — Ziggy Snacks LLC

Opportunity Summary

SOCIAL MEDIA + MARKETING INTERN

Want to learn how social media actually makes money? I’ll teach you.
I’m looking for a creative, curious student who wants real, hands-on marketing experience — not textbook theory.

What You’ll Do:

Create content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook

Learn the strategy behind posts that drive sales

Track performance with analytics

Design posts, stories, and Reels

What You Get:

Training 1–2x per week

Step-by-step guidance

Access to paid marketing courses

Portfolio-ready work

Real experience you can use in marketing, social media, or your own business

If you want to understand how creators and small brands grow online and make money, this internship gives you the inside look.

Tasks:

Students will engage in professional-level marketing and social media work that connects directly to business growth. Tasks include:

Learning and applying the strategy behind content that not only grabs attention but also nurtures long-term engagement and buyer readiness—understanding how to “plant seeds” through consistent, strategic posting that builds trust and leads to eventual sales

Assisting in building and refining sales funnels designed to increase customer conversions

Implementing lead generation strategies, including opt-in forms, landing pages, and downloadable lead magnets

Tracking and analyzing content performance using Instagram/Facebook Insights and other analytics tools to make data-informed marketing decisions

Participating in A/B testing on messaging, visuals, and calls-to-action to better understand audience behavior

Researching competitors and current trends to help guide content direction and brand positioning

Collaborating directly with the founder to brainstorm campaign ideas, evaluate performance, and adjust strategy accordingly

Developing and managing a content calendar for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook with intentional planning tied to storytelling and growth goals

Writing and designing branded posts, stories, and Reels using Canva and other creative tools

Assisting with influencer outreach and community engagement to grow brand visibility and reach

These tasks provide students with hands-on experience in both the strategic and creative sides of marketing, preparing them for future roles in digital marketing, social media strategy, or entrepreneurship.

Training:

Students will begin with a general orientation covering the brand, mission, target audience, and key marketing goals. They will then receive hands-on training in social media strategy, lead generation, and content creation through scheduled one-on-one virtual meetings with the founder 1–2 times per week. These sessions will include screen-sharing walkthroughs of tools like Canva, Instagram Insights, and Meta Business Suite.

The student will also complete a series of online courses (paid for by the company) on topics such as social media strategy, sales funnels, and digital advertising. These are the same trainings the founder used to grow the business and include course materials from Strong Brand Social and similar platforms. Each task assigned will be paired with clear instruction, examples, and feedback to ensure the student understands both the how and the why behind their work.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to develop and execute results-driven marketing strategies, create content aligned with brand identity, implement basic lead generation funnels, and analyze engagement data to inform future campaigns. They will gain hands-on experience in how digital marketing directly supports sales and growth within a real business—skills that are highly transferable to careers in marketing, advertising, entrepreneurship, and brand management.
