Opportunity Summary 

Headquartered in New York City with a Los Angeles showroom, MVPR services a vast international client roster, with brands based in New York, Milan, Paris, Sydney, Bangkok, Copenhagen and beyond. MVPR is committed to delivering culturally relevant and creative solutions across Celebrity, VIP, Influencer and Editorial communications, through custom strategy ideation and execution. Our VIP and Editorial departments closely collaborate to cement brand awareness, positioning and crucially, their narrative with a results and sales-driven approach.

MVPR are looking for detail oriented, enthusiastic interns to join our growing team. The ideal candidates have a passion for fashion, are interested in the VIP & Influencer sector of PR, up to date with digital trends and social media, work well in a fast-paced environment and have no problem running around LA. The purpose of this internship is to support the team on day to day tasks and larger scale projects, in order to understand the full scope of agency and client work.

Tasks:

Assist with stylist appointments, celebrity and influencer giftings
Monitoring press placements via social media and digital platforms
Maintain and update database of influencers, editors and stylists
Organize and maintain sample showroom collections
Pick up and drop off stylists loan requests
Research surrounding seasonable trends, industry news, etc.
Assist with creation of monthly client reports
Learn how to create and execute celebrity and influencer gifting campaigns

Training:

Students will begin with a general employer orientation covering company policies, clients, and expectations. They will receive weekly one-on-one mentor meetings, job shadowing opportunities, and guided task overviews with contextual background. Training will include the use of press tracking templates, database management, showroom organization, and gifting preparation, as well as instruction on industry research and trend analysis. Skills will be practiced under supervision before moving to independent work.

Learning Outcome:

During this experience, you will learn how to assist with stylist appointments and coordinate celebrity and influencer gifting campaigns from concept to delivery. You will develop skills in monitoring press placements across social media and digital platforms, maintaining organized databases of industry contacts, and managing showroom sample collections. You will gain hands-on experience with sample logistics, industry trend research, and preparing monthly client reports, building a strong foundation in PR, talent relations, and fashion industry operations.
