Creating Math Lessons at OppiaAt — Oppia Foundation
Do you enjoy explaining math concepts to your friends, and are you passionate about helping underserved children gain access to education? If so, keep reading! The Oppia Foundation is looking for Math Lesson Creators to assist our Lesson Creation team with creating effective and interactive lessons on Basic Mathematics (covering topics such as Data Representation, Time Measurement, Negative Numbers, and Factors/Multiples).
7 Service Learner Slots
Students will be introduced to our maths lesson leads and given an overview of the maths lesson project, as well as comprehensive documentation explaining how to create maths lessons following the Oppia method.
Opportunity Supervision
All lesson drafts submitted by students will be reviewed by our maths lesson review team, and reviewers will (where applicable) provide feedback to the student on their submissions. Additionally, maths lesson team leads will hold check-in meetings to help address any questions or concerns that students may have. Students who have mastered the process of creating the lessons may be invited to join the review team as well.
