Contributing to Voiceovers at OppiaAt — Oppia Foundation
The Oppia Foundation is looking for volunteers to help voiceover math lessons. These math lessons are designed to be a novel and engaging way for students to learn or enhance their basic math concepts (e.g. addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions). To make these math lessons more engaging for students, they have the option to listen to the audio as they read each lesson.
8 Service Learner Slots
We are looking for volunteers to dedicate some of their time to help voiceover the math lessons in any language. This will be an excellent opportunity to practice your reading/speaking skills, gain some experience doing voiceovers and also contribute to a good cause!
Students will be introduced to our voiceovers team lead and given an overview of the voiceover project, as well as a step-by-step guide on how to create and upload voiceovers on the Oppia website.
Opportunity Supervision
The voiceovers team lead will regularly check-in with students via email/chat to help address any questions or concerns students may have. Students who show commitment to creating voiceovers will join the team lead to review voiceover submissions made by other contributions.
