Opportunity Summary

Vets 4 Vets Santa Cruz has an opportunity available to update and improve our SCVeteranNetwork.org website, which is an informational website serving veterans across Santa Cruz County.

The student will:

  • Review and revise content
  • Improve functionality and navigation
  • Recommend design enhancements to increase accessibility and engagement

Ideal for students in Computer Science, IT, or Web Design who want to build their portfolio while supporting a community-focused project. Flexible schedule and it will be remote work.

Opportunity Training 

The student will receive an initial orientation to the mission of SCVeteranNetwork.org, its target audience, and current website structure. Ongoing guidance will be provided by the site coordinator, including goals for content accuracy, functionality, and user accessibility. Training will include access to existing platform tools (Squarespace). Support will be available throughout the project for questions, feedback, and technical troubleshooting.
