ECON 495 Center for Economic Education InternshipAt — College of Business and Economics (CSUF)
The Economic Education Intern at the Center for Economic Education will engage with middle and high school students to deliver financial literacy programs, participate in research projects using Excel and qualitative methods, and assist in event management, including setup and breakdown. Interns will also support the center’s social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. This role offers hands-on experience in educational program delivery, research, and social media management, providing valuable skills in communication, teamwork, and economic education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educational Engagement: Collaborate with educators to deliver financial literacy programs to middle and high school students. Assist in developing interactive and informative sessions that make economic concepts accessible and engaging.
- Research Participation: Engage in research projects related to economic education. Utilize basic Excel skills and qualitative research methods to create surveys, collect data, and perform data entry.
- Event Involvement: Support the planning and execution of center events.
- Participate in event setup and breakdown, ensuring smooth operations.
- Social Media Management: Assist in managing the center’s social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Develop and post content that promotes the center’s initiatives and engages the community.
