Organization Description

Arcata School District is located in Humboldt County, CA. Arcata Elementary serves TK-5, Sunny Brae Middle School serves 6-8, and we offer a Before School and After School Program. We also sponsor four charters.

Program Information

The Arcata Family Resource Center exists to serve families in the Arcata community. If you believe that the FRC may be able to assist you, or have questions about the services offered, please contact the Center at (707) 826-1002.

 

Food Security

The Arcata Family Resource Center can alleviate food insecurity for families through the following programs:

CalFresh

Backpacks for Kids

Emergency Food Bags

Holiday Assistance

 

Clothing Closet

The FRC is able to offer clothing and shoes to children in need.

 

Diaper Program

Families who meet the enrollment requirements receive a box of diapers and wipes each month for the duration of their participation in the program.

 

Parent Support

The FRC is available to provide parents with the assistance needed to ensure their children have the support needed to be successful in school.

Health & Safety

This site may require a combination of a Live-scan, required vaccinations, and/or a TB Test. Please ask your instructor and your site supervisor about these requirements. Proof of these will need to be submitted to your site in order to start your placement.
