Spiritual Care Admin CoordinatorAt — Providence Mission

At Providence Mission Hospital, we believe in the importance of whole person care - body, mind, and spirit. Our spiritual care team is dedicated to supporting the emotional and spiritual needs of patients, families, and caregivers. Our chaplains are trained to provide pastoral counseling, crisis intervention, prayer, bioethical decision-making support, and bereavement support.

We provide holistic spiritual care to persons of all faiths, including those without religious affiliations. Upon request, our team can contact your priest, pastor, rabbi, minister, imam or lay minister.

Spiritual Care admin coordinator in charge of referrals, bereavement program, grief support group coordination, marketing and research to support programs.

Tasks:

weekly bereavement correspondence, marketing materials posted, research articles on stress, cism, chaplaincy, ... registration for the bereavement program, ...

Training:

one-on-one orientation, training for the different assignments and duties, hospital wide learning modules, staff meetings, regular check-ins.
