Social Media InternAt — Giving Children Hope
The Social Media Intern will support our digital communications efforts by creating and curating content for our social media platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and social impact storytelling while contributing to meaningful causes.
Key Responsibilities:
Student will be working with the Director of Advancement & Marketing Coordinator to assist in all social media efforts. This will include gathering photos and videos, creating social media posts, generating captions across platforms, among other tasks.
- Assist in developing content across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Create engaging graphics, videos, and written content that align with our brand and mission
- Help monitor social media channels for trends, engagement, and community interaction
- Research trends and best practices to grow our online presence
- Support campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and virtual events
Training:
Student will experience a general staff training, daily training with the Marketing Coordinator, bi-weekly check-ins with the Advancement Manager, monthly check-ins with the Director of Advancement. Job shadowing.
