Screen print InternAt — M&J Screen printing
A internship for students you are in art/graphic design field. To show the manufacturing side of art making and how clients get items made. From shirts to posters and how to better understand which ways better translate.
Tasks:
Half of the duties will be shadowing department leads and seeing how they handle things. The rest of it will be hands on, from ink mixing to preparing files and screens for art work.
Training:
Some of the task will be shadowing the art department and watching them take a design and make it print ready. Following sales rep to see what is common mistakes people make when getting a design made. What information goes into tech packs and design process.
Learning outcome:
By the end of this academic internship, the student will be able to identify the different type of prints and know which is better for certain projects.
By the end they will also understand what goes into printing and why the artwork is important.
