Job Description:
PALS ABA Inc. is a growing ABA therapy provider dedicated to supporting children with autism and developmental disabilities. Interns will gain hands-on experience working alongside Behavior Therapists and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to deliver evidence-based therapy, collect data, support treatment plans, and learn the foundations of applied behavior analysis in a professional clinical setting.

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift

Job Types: Full-time AND Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Description of Tasks:

Work one on one with kids with disabilities by implementing treatment plans during therapy sessions.

Record accurate session notes and collect data using ABA data systems.

Observe and support skill-building activities targeting communication, social, and daily living skills.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions.

Training:

Initial orientation covering ABA basics, company policies, and safety procedures.

Weekly supervision and debriefing meetings with a BCBA to review progress and provide mentorship.

Ongoing in-session feedback from clinical staff.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the internship, the student will be able to:

Demonstrate knowledge of ABA principles and therapy techniques.

Collect and analyze behavior data to track client progress.

Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans under supervision.

Apply professional communication skills when collaborating with supervisors, caregivers, and team members.

Reflect on ethical responsibilities within the field of ABA.
