Opportunity Summary 

At 99 Barbell Fitness, interns and volunteers gain firsthand experience in gym operations, from customer service to training support. This opportunity provides insight into managing daily fitness business functions while learning how to engage and assist clients effectively.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students gain practical experience in customer service, client interaction, and day-to-day gym operations. They learn how to support training sessions, assist with member onboarding, and understand the business side of running a fitness facility. In addition, they develop communication, teamwork, and organizational skills while observing how coaches create effective programs and build community

Opportunity Training 

Our manager onsite will provide the training to the student. They will shadow the positions for at least 15 hours before they go off on their own.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Student won’t be working with the clients directly but will be able to shadow trainers.
