Opportunity Summary
We Are Looking For
· A passion and curiosity for the Entertainment Industry
· Excellent interpersonal skills, while understanding the confidentiality
· 2-3 days minimum a week at our office in Burbank. Office Hours: 10AM – 5PM
· Students actively enrolled in college. There are no restrictions on declared majors, degree program, or course of study. (Unpaid / Academic credit offered)
What You Will Do
- Assisting various divisions – TV/Film, Commercial, Print, Voice-Over, and Social Media with the day-to-day tasks. You will have the opportunity to work with agents, assistants, and talent. It is an excellent experience on how a Hollywood agency works!
- Various clerical tasks which include responding to emails, updating Casting sites, uploading resumes and photos, social media research, updating Voice-Over skill sheets on Excel, organizing data in SharePoint, and sitting in on talent meetings with potential clients
- Forwarding Fan Mail to talent
Training:
Training will include our general orientation on the first day. The student will job shadow on a daily basis.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand of how actors scouted, interviewed, represented, negotiated for.
- Upload photos and resumes to casting websites
- Develop social media capabilities by researching and helping find potential opportunities for clients.
