Opportunity Summary 

To deliver safe, enjoyable, and educational gymnastics instruction in a recreational setting—fostering physical, social, and motor skills among participants, while reinforcing the academy's standards and positive coaching culture.

Opportunity Training 

Recreational coaches receive hands-on training in safety, spotting, and age-appropriate instruction. New staff shadow experienced coaches, learn class management, and complete CPR/First Aid and safety certifications (often supported by the academy). Ongoing development includes feedback, skill clinics, and workshops to ensure coaches can teach effectively, maintain safety, and engage students in a positive environment.

Opportunity Supervision

Students will be guided through consistent supervision during every class, with coaches maintaining safe ratios and attentive oversight. Coaches will provide clear demonstrations, step-by-step instructions, and positive feedback to build confidence and skill. Progress will be monitored regularly, with adjustments to match individual needs. Open communication with parents and collaboration with senior staff ensure students receive the support they need to grow in both ability and confidence.
