Regenerative California (RegenCA)

Organization Description

Regenerative California is working to demonstrate regenerative economies, one that adds health to the land and communities as opposed to being extractive. One way Regenerative California is working to do this is by establishing a regenerative farm. This farm will model a holistic system that improves food nutrient density, increased soil carbon sequestration and water retention; through increasing biodiversity, minimizing soil disturbance, and rotating crops. This farm also provides leases to small and mid-sized farmers who often struggle for land access.

Health & Safety

While students will not be operating any machinery they will be on a small farm, so there will be equipment and machinery around. It is a requirement that anyone coming onto the farm has a safety briefing.
