InternAt — Child Development Center at MiraCosta College

Opportunity Summary 

The student will have an opportunity to observe and interact with children with varying specials needs as well as partner with outside agencies which supports the children at the Child Development Center. The students will gain practical strategies in adapting teaching practices to support various needs of children in a high quality typical early education setting.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

The Child Development Center is a campus based lab school with embedded learning opportunities' for students to gain hands-on experience working with children ages 18 months to 5 years under the supervision of experienced mentor teachers.
