Description: A hands-on clinical experience assisting physical therapists with patient care, exercise programs, and treatment modalities. Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

The PT internship offers students direct clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, providing opportunities to assist therapists, observe patient care, and apply academic knowledge to real-world practice. It develops professional skills, enhances understanding of treatment methods, and prepares students for future careers in physical therapy and healthcare.

Opportunity Training 

Students will receive site-specific orientation and training in clinic protocols, safety procedures, documentation, and the use of rehabilitation equipment to ensure success in assigned activities. Ongoing mentorship and supervision by licensed physical therapists are provided throughout the internship.
