Opportunity Summary
Provide a safe and developmentally appropriate preschool program. Plan and implementing activities that meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of children.
Tasks:
- Develop and maintain assessment files on children.
- Develop bi-weekly lesson plans
- Understanding and demonstrating play-based activities in each age group
- Demonstrate and reinforce positive behavior management
- Participate in Community activities.
Training:
- Onboarding with staff member/ supervisor to review legal aspects for a Title 22 facility.
- California Department of Social Services, Mandated Reporter Training reporting child abuse.
- Maintain program records
- Communication with parents and members of community
- One-on-one meeting with the lead teacher on an ongoing or weekly basis.
Learning Outcomes:
- Maintain classroom environment
- Knowledge of California Laws and requirements.
- Provide a safe and secure environment
- Understand the different milestones in a child's development and how to meet their needs.
- To integrate special needs children in a positive and respectful manner
