Humboldt Community Access & Resource Center (HCAR): Social Work Rotation
Organization Description
HCAR is a private non-profit agency, incorporated in 1955 by a group of dedicated parents seeking an alternative to institutionalization for their children with developmental disabilities. Today, HCAR serves local citizens with disabilities by promoting person-centered planning, community inclusion and family unity through an array of services and supports.

- Optional: As serving with this site might involve higher risk activity, if Humboldt students are interested in purchasing supplemental professional liability insurance for $25.00 for the semester, please contact risk management at risk-management@humboldt.edu. This supplemental insurance can protect students from clients that raise legal issues, etc.
