The PR Assistant / Sales Agent intern will support Lupita Peña Realty’s communication and marketing initiatives by applying strategic public relations (PR) principles to real estate branding and outreach. Responsibilities include contributing to promotional campaigns for property listings, supporting social media strategy, creating media content (press releases, client stories, and property spotlights), conducting target audience research, and assisting in local community engagement and networking.
The intern will gain hands-on experience with integrated marketing communication (IMC) practices in a fast-paced real estate environment. This position emphasizes the development of communication skills, digital media strategy, and real-world client engagement.
Tasks:
The intern will perform the following professional-level duties:
. Assist in creating and evaluating promotional campaigns for real estate listings
. Write and edit public-facing materials, including press releases and client success stories
. Support digital content planning and execution for platforms such as Instagram, MLS, and Google Business
. Conduct market and audience research to refine communication strategy
. Monitor analytics and engagement metrics to inform content performance
. Participate in team strategy meetings to provide PR input
. Represent the brand during community events and online outreach
. Monitor online reviews and contribute to reputation management efforts

Training:
To help the intern achieve the proposed learning outcomes, we will provide:
.An initial orientation covering branding, tools, office procedures, and campaign expectations
. Weekly one-on-one meetings with the supervisor to review progress, offer feedback, and provide mentorship
. Ongoing collaborative sessions where the intern will participate in brainstorming, editing, and strategy meetings
. As-needed check-ins for project support and developmental guidance
. Real-time feedback on written work and campaign contributions
Learning Outcome:
By the end of the internship, the student will be able to:
