Teachers are required to foster a nurturing, supportive, and safe environment for infants to grow, learn, and develop emotionally, socially, and cognitively. Positive reinforcement strategies are used to guide behavior and promote positive social interactions. 

Tasks:

1. Setting up morning activities age appropriate for infants
2. Learn to lesson plan
3. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
4. Engaging in language rich interactions with infants
5. Following consistent schedule and routines with transitions in between
6. Communicate observations to lead teacher for daily reports

Training:

Students will be introduced to the infant curriculum where they will learn what materials are appropriate for children 18 months to 24 months. They will be led through morning circle, vocabulary words through flash cards, and shadowing during daily schedule including transitions.

Learning Outcome:

- create lessons tailored to infants and theme
- engage in appropriate level conversations for infants using both basic sign language
- collaborate with teachers throughout lessons, gathering circle, and transitions
