Organization Description

The Sacramento Association of REALTORS® was founded in 1908 as the Sacramento Realty Board with about 50 members. Over time, it evolved alongside the city, becoming a cornerstone of professional real estate practice. Our mission is to empower our members’ success while enhancing communities and advocating for private property rights. We aim to lead and serve the Greater Sacramento region as a trusted, indispensable partner and the go-to resource for real estate professionals.

Program Information

Students will

• Assist with donor and member prospecting
• Draft outreach materials (emails, letters, social media posts) with staff guidance
• Support event planning, including logistics and member communications
• Learn data entry and donor tracking under supervision
• Attend committee or advocacy meetings as an observer
• Participate in team meetings and mentorship check-ins.

Student should preferrably be a political science major, communications major, nonprofit management major, or any related major. Additionally, students must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as an interest in political advocacy, fundrasing, or public policy. Must be detail oriented, organized, and proactive; student should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
