Tasks:

What You'll Actually Be Doing:
Patient Communication & Scheduling
Answer phones, respond to patient texts, and manage scheduling through our EMR and WEAVE systems. You'll be the first point of contact – learning how to handle real patient interactions professionally and efficiently.
One-on-One Patient Work
Teach and monitor therapeutic exercises directly with patients. This is where you build confidence, practice communication skills, and see the impact of proper coaching on patient outcomes.
Home Exercise Program Creation
Design customized exercise programs using PhysiTrack. Learn how to match exercises to patient needs, abilities, and goals – a skill that separates good clinicians from great ones.
Treatment Assistance
Work alongside the PT and other interns during patient treatments. You're not just watching – you're participating, learning techniques, and understanding the clinical decision-making process in real time.
Evaluation Observation
Sit in on initial evaluations and watch how experienced clinicians assess patients, build rapport, and create treatment strategies. See firsthand what makes patients trust their PT and commit to the plan.
Clinic Operations
Keep the clinic organized, clean, and running smoothly. Learn what it takes to maintain a professional environment where patients feel cared for and staff can perform at their best.
