The Graphic design and social media marketing specialist will be responsible for creating visually appealing content that is consistent with our brand. This role spans from digital platforms, to print and packaging. This role blends creativity and marketing insight to grow online presence and drive customer engagement.
Tasks:
Designing digital marketing materials such as social media posts, advertisements, and website materials.
Creating designs for print and packaging such as coffee bags, cups, merchandise, etc.
Assisting in product photography and editing for promotional use
Being prepared with designs and proper materials for review and feedback with team
Training:
Student will learn to adhere to CIC roasters team work flow, and learn to communicate and discuss decisions , which may have negative feedback. Through this, the student will become more comfortable with displaying their work and having it be critiqued.
Social Media analytics will be tracked and student will be expected to cater posts to current trends, or where they see an increase in views by checking analytics. Student will meet with team for check ins to ensure they are actively improving in these categories.
Learning Outcome:
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to fully build a consistent and memorable brand identity and maintain it across platforms.
The student will learn how to communicate with manufacturers and other marketing operations teams to ensure everything goes smoothly
The student will learn how to translate marketing goals into effective design concepts tailored to target audiences in the coffee industry.
