Service Learning OpportunitiesAt — Ascension Lutheran School

Our service-learning opportunities will connect students with the Day School, our TK-8 school with approximately 185 students, and the ECC, which hosts approximately 190 students from infancy to 4 years old. Our purpose is to raise really good human beings in a Christian community that is welcoming and Christ-centered with a nature explore focus.

Opportunities include:

• Supervise students throughout the day and potentially help oversee the summer camp.
• We're looking to interview each of our teachers (TK-5, 7 teachers) to create short 2-3 minute videos (7 videos) showcasing what to expect as students enter that grade for next year. We have a set of questions for the teachers to answer. We're looking for help with videography creating videos that keep the audience attention by changing backgrounds or moving around as the interview is happening. Then splicing it together so it's only about 2-3 minutes. If possible, we'd also like to use short clips from the interviews to use for marketing purposes on social. We'll create a webpage to host all the videos and then share the link with current and future families. Ideally we'd have these videos completed by March 1.
