Graphics TechnicianAt — City of La Mirada
Under the general direction of the Graphics and Technology Coordinator, performs responsible work associated with the production of City newsletters, brochures, and other public information materials.
Typical Duties Performed:
- Prepares newsletters, brochures, pamphlets and flyers to promote City programs and services.
- Prepares public informational materials using desktop publishing software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Coordinates projects with other City departments.
- Photographs City programs and events.
- Assists in maintaining the City's website and social media accounts.
- Assists in preparing and setting up presentations in PowerPoint and similar programs.
- Adheres to City and departmental policies and procedures and performs related work duties as assigned.

Training:
Training includes a mandatory employer orientation, weekly one-on-one mentor meetings, review of assigned projects, workshops and skill trainings.

- Work well with all departments within the City.
