Theatre Marketing Liason- DuronAt — CSUF - College of the Arts
Marketing intern role will act as a liason between the Theatre Department and the COTA marketing team. The intern will work closely with the production manager and the production team ensuring seamless communication between department.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the internship, the student will have hands-on experience in Theatre Marketing and Production coordination, understanding of audience engagement, campaign planning, and cross department collaboration. Exposure to professional workflows in a performing arts setting.
Training
To help the student achieve the proposed learning outcomes, I will coordinate with production teams to translate creative requirements into marketing strategies. Assist in promotional activities, including social media, newsletters, and event promotion. Attend production meetings to align marketing efforts with show timelines and goals. Building connections with theatre professionals, arts organizations, and the community.
Tasks/Duties
The intern will demonstrate the learning outcomes by assisting with content creation for productions and activities in the department, assist with show programs, strategizing community outreach, participating in brainstorming sessions for various productions, and event coordination and promotional activities for upcoming shows.
