Ventura Wild
Organization Description
The Ventura Land Trust (VLT), a community based nonprofit organization formed in 2003, believes that preserving open space and providing public access to nature enhances the economy, quality of life, and public well-being of Ventura and surrounding communities. Working closely with members, volunteers, businesses and community partners, VLT is committed to protecting the natural beauty of the Ventura region for current and future generations. VLT builds trails, restores habitat, and cleans up our rivers and, working with willing landowners, obtains land via acquisition or through a land conservation agreement.
