Opportunity Summary 

Responsibilities

  • Contribute ideas for client content calendars and other special projects.
  • Support social media manager with account management tasks such as creating cover photos for reels, choosing audios, or drafting copy.
  • Research and stay on top of trends to inform content ideas.
  • Support event coverage and live social moments (virtual or in-person if local).
  • Help manage digital assets and organize Notion dashboards.
  • Help with additional agency tasks as necessary.

Training:

Initial Orientation: A general agency onboarding covering 4th and Crawford’s mission, client portfolio, brand voice standards, confidentiality expectations, and workflow systems.

Role-Specific Training: Guided walkthroughs of content calendars, platform-specific best practices, copy frameworks, and asset organization systems (Notion, Google Drive, scheduling tools).

Ongoing Mentorship: Weekly or bi-weekly one-on-one mentor check-ins with agency leadership or the social media manager to review work, provide feedback, and connect tasks to broader strategy.

Job Shadowing & Examples: Exposure to real client deliverables, live content planning, event coverage preparation, and review of successful past campaigns and analytics.

Contextualized Assignments: Clear explanations of how each task supports client goals, campaign objectives, and overall brand strategy, ensuring learning is intentional and applied.

Learning Outcome:

Develop strategic social media content ideas by contributing to client content calendars aligned with brand voice, audience goals, and platform best practices.

Execute core social media management tasks, including drafting captions, selecting audio trends, and creating supporting visual assets such as reel cover photos.

Conduct trend and audience research to inform content strategy and demonstrate an understanding of how cultural moments and platform shifts impact engagement.

Demonstrate professional workflow and organizational skills by managing digital assets and maintaining internal Notion dashboards.

Apply foundational marketing and communications principles in a real-world agency setting while working independently, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with a team.
